Mark has been a good friend & Ambassador for a long time. One day, he called & asked us if we could make some changes on his “Christopher Travel” he bought for his daughter, Christina.
Although Christina found its vintage metal frame quite attractive & appealing, she had wished if the bag could open wider so that packing on the “Go” maybe easier.
Mark asked if we could replace the frame with the zipper & keep the rest of the components in tact. Luckily, we had one Christopher in Black made & although it wasn’t an easy decision, a sacrifice had to be made.
We’ve tried a different options and positions and felt like we had found a winning formula. With Mark’s vote of confidence and approval, we began the transformation of his old Christopher to Christina.
After seeing the images of new design, Mark was quite happy and he asked us to make a new one in Cobblestone. It turns out Christina’s graduation is due in a few weeks & would like it as her graduation gift. When I asked why he’d chosen Cobblestone as a color, Mark said… “It is her color”.
So we began.
Naming this new bag came quite simple & easy. It derived from Christopher and because of its zipper top, it felt elegantly feminine… and “Christina” being the name of Mark’s daughter, everything simply made sense.
A few days after Christina’s graduation, Mark & I had a very pleasant conversation and soon after, we had received kind words from Christina as well. Hearing & feeling the joy in their voices made us all smile here in our Studio, and reminded me how lucky we are to be doing what we do here in our Studio.
We would like to thank Mark for allowing us to be a part of this special occasion and we would like to congratulate Christina on her graduation and new career by saying…
