Coming home from NY on the 1st, I was able to capture this photo during a flight. Felt like a welcoming sign that Chapter 2 of our journey is about to start....... & we are very grateful for every moment of our journey.
A month of August has been quite eventful & required a lot of days of travel of me. We now have a lot of James tote & James Petit to make. Thank you for your patience & we will get started soon!
Elspeth is a friend from Australia. She was expecting a baby girl & we've made her a diaper bag in James Tote. It was sent to her back in April, yet never got delivered. We thought it got lost for sure.... then, we had realized that it was sent to a wrong address in her block & it got returned back to us yesterday. I had repeatedly informed Elspeth that although USPS may be slower than other courier services, it had never failed to deliver a package. I am just glad that USPS was able to back me up on my claim & this morning... This James Tote was finally sent to her right home in Australia. By the way, Elspeth gave a birth to an adorable pricness, Wendy last week, and I am happy to tell you all that both Baby & Mom are healthy. Hopefully, James Tote can accompany them for their first trip to a park.
We got 2 debbie backpacks in for the repair. The handle of Anthony's debbie backpack broke & came in for a repair all the way from Singapore. Looking at its flap, I thought this would be at least 2 years old, but surprisingly it has been only 8 months. He sheepishly tells me that he loved the distressing so much that he somewhat orchestrated some himself & been using it on a daily basis.
Gloria's debbie backpack also came in for the repair. We've all heard "My dog did it" excuse, but her new puppy actually chewed the strap. We plan to show its repair process on our "Warranty" page.
During my stay in NY a few weeks ago, I went to visit 9/11 Memorial museum. I couldn’t believe it had been already 17 years since the tragedy happened in which so many lives of innocents and heroes were lost by it. I remember visiting the site back in 2003 & it felt great to see NY fully recovered from the tragedy. Must stay strong to preserve the peace. #NeverForget
Tosha, Kim, Karen, Christine, & Kyoko, Thank you very much for your wonderful support & the patience you’ve shown us. We are very happy to inform you Your James Petits are currently tanning…& She is coming home soon.
We have our 1st Gregoryduffle in Cobblestone made today for our friend, Sam. I am personally in love with our Cobblestone. The color itself is very unique & feels luxurious… and it is just so much fun to play with this color.
Marvin & Marcela has a special friend and have asked me to make a special briefcase. It has taken a bit longer, but I believe it will be ready for the Occasion.
And Today, These ladies have done their Tannings & soon, She will be going home.
Finally, these ladies are about to go home next week.
Pam’s James Tote in English Bridle is the 1st of its kind. Our English Bridle has perhaps the most refined texture in our collection. Therefore, it takes much longer to show the patina compared to other colors in our collection. For any previous products made in English Bridle, the maximum tanning we’ve done was 3 times. This time, we’ve decided to provide her 7 tannings. By the 4th time, its color started to change to a rich tone.
These ladies have been more than patient with their #JamesPetit & We are so excited to inform that each of their #JamesPetit will be born this afternoon.
Introducing the Ladies…
Thank you for reading & talk to you again in our October blog!
