We started June showcasing Sandast to many Classic Car owners & Enthusiasts in Pismo Beach. Not only it was a great show for us, but I’ve come to appreciate the beauty of Classic Car as well. I have a feeling we will be a regular in such events.
We have been busy with Studio remodeling and although it has been a lot of work, we are just glad that it is almost done and our Studio looking fantastic. If you have never been to our Studio or haven’t been here lately, I would like to suggest you to do so now. It feels much more inviting, clean, and better.
Lately, we have done a lot of “Custom” works and thought we would need a color swatch.
& Of course, we weren’t thinking of a typical color swatch book.
This area is where my computer used to be. We put all old machines in this section.
A few friends have suggested to turn it into an “Escape room”.
We will see.
Needless to say, we have been playing “Catan” through out the month of June. I may be the biggest proponent of the game. Not only it is a lot of fun to play, but also quite educational in many regards.
Javier told me he had been looking for this leather cuff for years and he finally had his wishes.
Many of you have asked previously (including William who just got his 1st Sandast in Leather Organizer) “What to do” in case of a water spill on Leather. We will explain more in depth later in a series of short videos, but the most important thing is to wipe the moisture out of the leather. As long as it doesn’t stay soaked for a long period time, the leather itself is okay although there can be a potential smear.
Just remember to wipe the water or moisture as quickly as possible and let it dry!
It has been almost an year since Thiri asked us to make her a custom messenger bag…. and she came all the way from Kenya to visit us in last Christmas. To our defense, she has made some specific demands on her hardware and a few details on her bag had to be sorted out.
We are just super excited that her bag is almost ready to go home soon and She is looking Fabulous!
As some of you are well aware, my sketch or drawing has been terrible…. We’ve lost a lot of business because of my inability to sketch the concept of “Custom work”.
When Shanna came to visit our Studio, I had shared the story and she made a strong recommendation to buy this book and practice & practice I did.
Shanna, Thank you so much & See you when you get back from Italy!
There seldomly comes a project or two that we just can’t help but smile upon completing it.
When Marcus told me Wrestling is his passion and he wants to make a comeback to WWE, we knew we needed to help & it would be a lot of fun….
This was the actual bag Richard’s late Father used while he was serving in Air Force. Richard was going to throw it away as it was no where near in “Working condition”. Fortunately, Clarisse stopped him throwing it away.
She came to us for help and we want to give him a new life.
This was the last wall that needed a bit of artwork & I wanted it to provide “Hope” for anyone who needs it.
For now, its title is ‘ Sunrise - making a wish”.
It is dark now, but soon…. the Sun will rise.
