It is already Feb & time seems to be flying by when you have a lot of catch ups to do. We have been tanning these 3 briefcases in the month of Jan and finally, we are putting them together. Very excited about these!
It has been raining a lot in Los Angeles & we had probably the biggest pour I had seen in a while. Being in Los Angeles where the rain is rare, it felt absolutely fantastic seeing and hearing its sound.
Earlier in Jan 2019, we had received a phone call from Rich. Rich had been shopping for briefcase for him & his friends. He accidentally found us in the magazine and liked what he saw & read. He graciously asked us to make 3 Francis Briefcase braided. You can read the entire story in the below link.
It all started with Kim & her James Petit. During her visit to Rachel’s office, Kim was carrying her James Petit and Rachel became Sandast Ambassador. When Rachel ordered her James Tote in Orchid, we ran out of the leather. So while she waiting, we sent her James Tote loaner in English Tan. Maureen is Rachel’s friend and Rachel sent Maureen to us. It is exactly how we were able to continue our journey and we can’t thank our Ambassadors enough!
Seeing Rachel’s James Tote next to Maureen’s James Petit made us smile. The fact that it was Rachel who referred Sandast to Maureen, and both bags made at the same time…. It was a special experience.
We had received a delightful news from Jordan that She & Jay had their wedding ceremony in December.
We couldn’t be happier! https://www.sandast.com/loveletter/jordanjay
Aaron has been waiting for his Francis duffle for a long time. Very glad that finally we were able to send home his Duffle.
Ellen emailed me earlier in the month that she really likes the shape of Cayman, but wanted it to be a bit smaller to fit her daily use. So we’ve made a few changes and new pattern. I’d asked how she would like to name the new bag & she chose “Walter” in the memory of her late dog / best friend. We are excited to present “Walter” in the upcoming month.
