Sandast’s sole mission is to bring the best-looking, top quality vintage inspired bags seen today. Combining vintage aesthetics and modern functionality, Sandast is ready to create unique pieces rare within the luxury market. Montenegro-born Milan Franeta was always a visionary artist, so it was no surprise when he began rummaging through thrift shops to find vintage Swiss army bags that he then dirtied and made his own. This brought the onset of an increasing interest towards leather and the idea of dirtying them to look and feel vintage—soft, durable but elegant in its imperfection. What started as a project in 2005 became the brand that’s here to redefine all American vintage, Sandast.
Produced in the USA, each belt and bag is carefully handcrafted utilizing old-world Italian machinery and methods of construction, including a stitching machine used for horse saddles.
