School Boy
There is one outfit that never fails you when you want to look clean and polished. The sweater and the white blouse. Whether it's preppy chic or artsy casual, you know people will take you seriously when you pop the collar out of a cashmere sweater. Love how it works with a fitted trouser, oversized with tights and a mini skirt. You can top the ensemble off with oxfords, combat boots or wedges. Kinda like how you can make it work with a Sandra briefcase, Theo messenger and Lidia backpack!

Mood Board: Colors
A little inspiration from us to you. Fall is a great time to experiment with bold colors like red or find comfort in the everlasting black. We are so drawn in by chunky knits, knee highs, buckled boots, low slung bags, trench coats (& pea coats, fur coats..ANY coat) and anything vintage...hence this fabulous b/w photo. Pilates For Pink Fashion Show
Our Pilates For Pink Fashion Show event co-hosted with Cyclelates (formerly known as Spinlates) truly delivered! We raised over $500 in donations from breast cancer research and the crowd response for Sandast was amazing, especially the holster and Theo notebook!

Bardot
Last night, we headed over to check out an underrated speakeasy style jazz lounge called Bardot. From the 1920s decor to the art deco ambiance, this place was 'sexy' all over. Sandast felt right at home. The air of mystery and sultriness exuded in this escape from hipster capital of Los Angeles and it felt good. Dinner and drinks, anyone? On most nights, they have special DJs and live performances. Tres chic!
A place worthy of its name.

We had too much fun picking our favorite guys and gals, but we had to choose chic Audrey Hepburn and bombshell Brigitte Bardot.

Covet-worthy Goods from Kaufmann Mercantile
We stumbled upon a unique online store called Kaufmann Mercantile. The shop hand selects products that will "outlast you." All high-quality, HANDMADE and refreshingly functional yet beautiful. The shop's ambiance and its products definitely radiate a vintage aesthetic--cool gadgets and gizmos reminiscent of periods past. I mean, how awesome are the snow shoes? All of these seemingly collector's pieces are for everyday use and even though the price point is high, they're worth every penny.
