Getting Racked
It's true, one of the best thing about being based in Los Angeles is the incredible amount of shopping you can do in this city. Yeah, there are the usual places to - Melrose and Rodeo, Fred Segal and Ron Herman, but when shopping blog Racked asked Milan (our Creative Director) for a place to go shopping out of the ordinary - or as they say "off the beaten path," he couldn't get but get the creative juices flowing. As his craft in leather and denim seem somewhat synonymos, it just makes sense that Milan shoppers looking for great vintage denim (and more) head to Mister Freedom. Check out the blog piece here.

Vintage store
We went to this cool vintage store in N.Y and just had to marvel at these beautiful & rich artifacts. I and Milan were like kids at the candy store....drooling at what to buy. We both ended up buying one each and you will soon find out what we bought at the Sandast store due to open soon in Downtown Los Angeles.

Pose & Make It Work
Yesterday was an exciting day for Sandast-our Spring 2012 Lookbook photoshoot! We were searching high and low for the best team to bring our bags to life in gorgeous photos and we found the perfect match with Via Aclan & her glam squad plus models John Strand and Jade McDaniel. We warmed up at Via's mod loft studio, headed to a dumpster site in the middle of industrial downtown LA, then relocated to nature haven in Topanga Canyon. The weather was phenomenal, so wonderfully warm that we couldn't believe it was November! We arehappy to share that we got the money shots in the final hour and called it a day. After a 10-hour shoot, we're incredibly in l-o-v-e with the shots! Can't wait to share them to y'all! Here's a little preview of what's coming...
